An interdisciplinary practice across communication, photography and artificial intelligence.

A practice shaped by intersections
I work at the intersection of communication, image and artificial intelligence.
My practice is not divided by medium, but driven by a recurring question:
how do systems shape what we see, say and understand?
Between human intention and machine logic
I am an Italian creative director, photographer and experimental music artist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, culture and visual storytelling.
My work moves across communication strategy, artistic research and contemporary street photography, exploring how technology is reshaping the way we create, perceive and narrate reality.
Under the name tylerdurdan* develop AI-driven music projects that investigate authorship, identity and the transformation of creativity in the age of generative technologies.
My practice combines traditional songwriting with AI-generated voices and hybrid production, creating a dialogue between human intention and machine interpretation.
Alongside my artistic work, I am the founder of Seed Media Agency, a digital communication studio based in southern Italy, where I develop projects for brands and institutions.
Beyond the tool: thinking through AI
I see technology not as a tool, but as a condition, something that shapes how we think, create and communicate.
My work reflects on this shift, positioning AI not as a replacement of human creativity, but as a space of tension, negotiation and possibility.
Grounded in reality
Through street photography, I document everyday life as it unfolds, capturing spontaneous moments, human presence and the subtle connections between places and identities.
This practice is deeply rooted in reality and observation, grounding my broader research in lived experience and direct contact with the world.
Naples plays a central role in this process, acting as both subject and lens , a city where contrasts, narratives and human density naturally converge.
Projects, releases and feature
My projects have been featured in international music magazines and digital culture platforms, contributing to the ongoing conversation around AI, authorship and contemporary art.
Approach
I work across different fields, but with a consistent approach.
Through Seed Media Agency, I design communication as a system, not just content, but structure.
Through photography, I document reality, focusing on everyday life and social contexts.
Through AI-driven projects like tylerdurdan*, I explore authorship, identity and the transformation of language.
Project Dimension
Alongside these fields, I develop independent projects.
Between Gaza and Naples is a long-term photographic dialogue on childhood, distance and conflict, developed with Palestinian photographer Mahmoud Abu Qaraya.
Mr. Plinio is an AI assistant designed to improve access to natural spaces, developed within the Parco Nazionale del Vesuvio.
AI Music – tylerdurdan*

With the nickname tylerdurdan* I develop an AI-mediated music project based on human writing and artificial voice.
The work explores the boundaries of authorship and the cultural implications of generative technologies.
Selected Press

My work has been featured in publications including la Repubblica, Elle, Rockit, Witness Journal and Photojournalism Hub.
